The Algarve region also has a rich cultural heritage rooted in rural traditions. It's not unusual to find beautiful Quintas linked to wine production and other local products such as figs, oranges and almonds, which also offer wine tasting, guided tours, and other experiences in the property, providing a deeper knowledge of this landscape. These enchanted moments are ideal for sharing with your loved one while tasting a bit of the Algarvian gastronomy and wines. WHERE TO SHOP In the nearby village of Budens, you can do most of your local grocery shopping at the Intermarché supermarket; there's also a bakery and a gas station. In places like Salema, Burgau or Sagres, a few minutes' drive away, coastal villages offer fine restaurants, coffee shops, other shops and supermarkets. In Lagos, a 30-minute drive, you have a few supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, a few more restaurants (a bit crowded in the peak of the season) and other shops.
